Sun May 9, 2010 - 11:00am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm Coulson (Horseshoe Valley) Coulson Church Mother's Day Event If you find yourself in the Barrie area on Mother's Day, you may wish to visit the historic Coulson church. This quaint rural church was built in 1881 on the Corner of the Walker Farm located on the Horseshoe Valley Road at the 6th concession line. On Sunday May 9th a photographic exhibit of Victorian Children's and Mother's fashions will be on display. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as you browse the antique photo exhibit and tour the church. Live music will be provided by singer/songwriter Anne Walker at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. This free event is being presented in conjunction with the Mother's Day weekend sale at Grandpa's Horse Stable Antiques and Collectibles--a unique shop located in a 130 year old stone horse stable. Horse and Wagon rides will be available on Mother's Day (Sunday, May 9th only) between the church and the shop.
